Enistic is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Sustainability Analyst to join our Advisory team in Oxford. This is an entry-level role — perfect for a recent graduate who wants to build real expertise in carbon management and sustainability consulting from day one.

Founded in 2009, Enistic is an Oxford-based sustainability consultancy helping UK businesses on their journey to a lower-carbon future. We combine deep technical knowledge with a practical, client-focused approach across energy management, carbon accounting, regulatory compliance, and sustainability strategy.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with our Head of ESG and wider Advisory team, you'll help clients understand and improve their environmental performance through data-driven analysis. Day to day, you'll:

• Collect, process, and analyse energy, carbon, and sustainability data from a range of clients
• Support the preparation of ESG and GHG emissions reports (Scope 1, 2 & 3)
• Assist with UK regulatory compliance reporting including ESOS, SECR, and TCFD
• Produce clear, well-structured client-facing reports and presentations
• Maintain data quality within internal systems and client databases
• Contribute to client engagements alongside senior consultants
• Keep an eye on developments in UK and EU sustainability legislation
• Support business development, including proposals and client presentations

What we're looking for

• A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Geography, or a related discipline
• A sound understanding of GHG accounting principles and carbon footprinting
• Confidence with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
• Strong written communication — you can produce clear, professional reports
• The right to work in the UK

Nice to have (but not essential): familiarity with UK frameworks like ESOS, SECR, and TCFD; experience with sustainability software or carbon management platforms; an internship, placement, or voluntary experience in a sustainability role; and an interest in net zero strategy, biodiversity, or social value.
